New Jersey Motorcycle Events
Motorcycle enthusiasts understand one another, so it is natural for them to gather together for various motorcycle events throughout the year. New Jersey has its fair share of motorcycle events, and many people will come out to enjoy various festivities, charity functions, group rides, and more.
Along with motorcycle events often come increased risks that someone will suffer injuries in an accident. Other drivers might not be aware of these events, and they might act negligently and hit a motorcyclist before, during, or after an event. If this happens to you, reach out to a motorcycle accident attorney in NJ for help.
Events in NJ
Motorcyclists in New Jersey have much to look forward to near the end of 2022 and next year in 2023. Some events include the following:
23rd Annual Hog Toy Run
This is a police-escorted ride that begins at noon on November 6, 2022. Each rider should bring a new, unwrapped toy (other than a stuffed animal) to benefit the Children’s Hospital at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. The event begins at Liberty Harley-Davidson, and there is a pasta lunch to follow.
Atlantic City International Motorcycle Show
Known as the most complete motorcycle show in the United States, the show sponsored by Jam On Productions takes place Friday, February 3 through Sunday, February 5, 2023. The show happens at the Showboat Hotel and allows attendees to:
- See the newest motorcycle models
- Hear live music daily
- Compete in sound competitions and earn other prizes
- Participate in the new and used part swap meet
- Enjoy a cold beer and good food
- Shop for leather and other riding accessories
- Enjoy special celebrity guests
Bikers Rally Across America for Brain-Injured Children
The New Jersey Elks sponsor the 20th annual Rally Across America to benefit children with brain injuries on Saturday, April 9, 2023, from 1 pm to 8 pm. There are escorted scenic rides from various locations, including South Amboy, Marlton, Bayonne, Hillsborough, Brick, and Pompton Lakes. Attendees will donate $20 to enjoy four live bands, food, drinks, and other vendors. The proceeds will all go to the Sayreville B.I.C. camp and Camp Robin in Old Bridge.
Motorcycle Accidents
There is always the chance that participants in a motorcycle event can be injured in a crash. Even with escorted rides, other drivers can be negligent and hit a motorcycle. Such drivers should be liable for the harm they cause, and injured motorcyclists should always have the right legal help to ensure they receive total compensation. Compensation can cover medical bills, lost income, pain and suffering, and much more.
