Meet Jeremy L. Yela

Jeremy L. Yela is the Director of Operations for the Firm. Mr. Yela steers the firm’s operations with a unique blend of legal experience and operational expertise.

As Director of Operations, Mr. Yela oversees the day-to-day functions of the firm by working closely with our support staff, IT, building agents, and third party vendors to ensure the firm operates smoothly. He handles a variety of administrative functions including client invoicing, inventory management, and financial recording, to name a few. Additionally, he collaborates with our marketing team to analyze data, promote the firm’s brand, and manage our online website. 

Prior to becoming the operations director, Mr. Yela served as a paralegal at the firm and brings a wealth of experience specializing in personal injury and civil litigation matters in both New York and New Jersey. From inception to resolution, he has extensive experience in all aspects of pre-trial litigation to trial preparation. He has handled a variety of tasks ranging from gathering case evidence, document drafting, court filings, and electronic data management, to name a few. He brings a broad range of technical skills and legal knowledge to assist our attorneys with navigating the complexities of today’s litigation. 

Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Yela honed his skills as a paralegal at a general practice law firm. There, he assisted attorneys representing multibillion-dollar insurance companies, with auto accident insurance subrogation claims. Simultaneously, he provided legal assistance in advocating for personal injury victims. Prior to his legal endeavors, Mr. Yela showcased his leadership abilities as a supervisor in the operations department for Paramus Catholic High School. Additionally, he developed his analytical skills through his work in the security department for New Jersey’s largest sports venue, MetLife Stadium.

Mr. Yela earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Montclair State University with a double concentration in Justice Systems and International Justice and a minor in Environmental Justice. While at MSU, he also gained valuable experience through an internship with the Paramus Police Department in their Operations/Traffic Bureau. In connection with his work, Mr. Yela was inducted into the Alpha Phi Sigma, National Criminal Justice Honor Society.

Building on this foundation, Mr. Yela then went on to earn a Master’s degree in Business Administration, with a specialization in data analytics from Louisiana State University. While studying at LSU, Mr. Yela was inducted into the Sigma Iota Epsilon (SIE) national honorary and professional management society for his academic achievements.

Born in New York City and raised in Bergen County, New Jersey, Mr. Yela balances his professional endeavors with personal interests by fishing, traveling, and spending quality time with his family & loved ones.
