What happened between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard?

Heard and Depp met and started dating in 2012. The entertainers wedded in mid-2015, and notwithstanding numerous affirmations from anonymous newspaper sources that everything was “amazing”. Heard petitioned for legal separation 15 months after the fact.

The jury awarded Depp $10 million in damages and $5 million in damages to punish her defamation case.  Judge Penney Azcarate of the Fairfax District Court reduced the jury’s fee to Depp to $350,000, the state or legal limit, bringing his total damage to $10.4 million.
